TV Eye in Ridgewood has a really good vibe. It's the kind of place that feels laid-back but still lively, especially when there's music or a crowd. The bar is solid, with good drinks and a friendly feel. The outdoor seating is a big plus--great spot to hang out when the weather's nice, whether you're just having a drink or staying a while. It's comfortable and not too crowded. Food was surprisingly good too. Not just typical bar food--everything tasted fresh and well put together. Overall, it's a fun place to chill, grab a drink, and actually enjoy the food.

I went to see "Vida" with Carolina Gaitan supported by my son Nico Raimont. Of course, I thought that their performance was amazing, but let's talk about the theater. The staff is extremely professional and kind. The theater is cozy and the temperature is perfect because it's not too hot and it's not too cold. Nobody wants to be sweating or shivering when enjoying a performance. There's great audio no matter where you sit and the view is also great regardless of the seat. I love how they have space outside for photos and a meet and greet with the artist after the show. There's a multi gender bathroom in the lobby and it was very clean. This theater is a gem because all of their shows are in Spanish and they have English subtitles at the top so anyone can enjoy the show. Make it a point to go see a play or a show in the theater. Trust me, you will thank me later. Este teatro es fenomenal y les va a encantar. Ver cualquier Show aqui.

Saw the The Importance of Doing Art. It was a terrific show in a sweet quaint theater. Understudy Jordan Pita was wonderful and entertaining. The show was awesome!! Can't wait to be back. Theater was clean, had a small bar for cocktails, bathrooms were accessible. Stairs available or elevators. Easy to find! Seats were comfortable.

Thank you to the entire team at Batsu, especially Jenn and Cassandra, for all of your help in making my birthday so special! I hosted a group of 30 people here, everything was seamless and surprisingly the food was very good. The performers are so talented and clever with their improv - it's highly interactive so make sure you come with a group that's willing to participate in the fun. Such a fun experience!

The candlelight concert tribute to Linkin Park was absolutely incredible. The venue has no bad seats and feels very intimate. We got there later than I had wanted to so we had to sit in the second to last balcony row and still you could see everything. The stage lit with candles set the mood for an emotional experience. As a fan of Linkin Park for 23 years the High Line String Quartet paid the utmost respect to the band. Incredible to hear some of their hardest rock songs played so gently. I would absolutely attend another of these for another of my favorite artists.

Naumburg Bandshell

star 4.7

Midtown West, Manhattan · 419 reviews

The Naumburg Bandshell is in Central Park along the Mall, and it is one of those structures in the park that rewards attention even when nothing is happening on its stage. Designed by William G. Tachau and built between 1921 and 1923, the neoclassical half-domed shell faces out onto one of the more formal stretches of the park, and the architecture has a presence that holds up on its own terms as a piece of the overall landscape. The bandshell has hosted outdoor concerts in Central Park for over a century, and the Naumburg Orchestral Concerts continue to use the space for free performances during the warmer months. The acoustics carry well in the open air setting and the natural bowl of the surrounding lawn functions as informal seating that fills up during popular performances. Catching a concert here is one of those New York experiences that feels specific to the city in a way that is difficult to replicate elsewhere, and the setting in the middle of the park on a summer evening is genuinely memorable. Beyond concerts the bandshell serves as a gathering point for walks, runs, community events, and festivals throughout the year. The Disability Unite Festival and various charity walks have used the space, and its central location within the park makes it a natural meeting point for larger organized activities. The area is busy on weekends with a mix of tourists and locals passing through along the Mall. On a quiet day when nothing is scheduled, the bandshell is still worth a look as part of a longer walk through the park. It sits close enough to other Central Park landmarks that it integrates naturally into any itinerary rather than requiring a separate detour.

I recently attended the interactive Jury Duty Experience here with my fiance as part of date night and it was one of the most unique theater experiences we have ever had. From the moment we walked in, we weren't just audience members but part of the story. The show immerses you in a simulated courtroom where the audience actually serves as the jury. As evidence is presented, witnesses testify, and attorneys argue their cases, you're constantly evaluating what you believe is the truth. It creates this electric tension in the room because everyone knows their decision actually matters. The actors were incredibly convincing and the storytelling was sharp and engaging. You could feel the weight of every testimony and cross-examination, and it really made you think about bias, perception, and how difficult it can be to determine guilt or innocence. The production does a fantastic job of blurring the line between theater and real life. What makes the experience stand out is how thought provoking it is. You leave discussing the case with strangers, debating details, and reflecting on how you came to your final verdict. Literally! It's rare for a show to stick with you like that long after the lights come up. If you enjoy immersive theater or want something different from the typical night out, the Jury Duty Experience at The Space at Irondale is absolutely worth it. It's interactive, intense, and surprisingly powerful. We wil be back!!

I love this theatre and have been a subscriber for two seasons now. I really recommend the subscription plan! I often just call with the date I want and the amazing box office picks my seats and they are always amazing (since they know how each play will be staged). Also, I just called because I got tickets and then realized I couldn't make it, and Lawrence @ the box office switched the dates for me at no cost. Amazing customer service, great plays, intimate theatre. It's just great. Definitely going to keep subscribing!

First time at PAC. It's a great theater. Seating is comfortable, when you first sit down the seats seem hard but end up being very comfortable. We sat in the orchestra and the view was great, not sure how the view is from the highest balcony seating but most seats looked to have good views. Sound was also very good. Definitely a new and more modern theater but feels intimate as the seating is all around the space. Only downside would be the stairs. I think there are elevators, guess there has to be, but the theater is very high up in the building. We didn't go yo the concession stand but during intermission the line was huge and it looked like the actual space for concessions was very small. We saw Giulia which was spectacular and highly recommend.

This is a nice place that my wife and I were always looking for. A place cozy, with live music and good food to have a relaxing moment. We're been here few times already, and we liked it, but there's room for improvement. The first presentation (video included) was ok. It seems they were not 100% prepared for the event and it lacked a good presentation, introduction and production in general. We were a bit disappointed. The service was good and the food is great for the place. The next visit was better in the music presentation and atmosphere, but service was ok, not great. I definitely recommend the place, but hopefully they can improve more. This place needs more support by the community. The several times we went, it's been just few people. Not good to keep the business. Support them please.

As a performer, I have to say QED is an incredible place to do a show. The crowd at this place, as is true for most privately owned smaller places, was phenomenal. Really engaged & responsive. The stage is a bit small, but it was enough for our magic show. Dealing with Hannah was a joy, and the bar had beer, wine, and a limited liquor list, as well as food. It's kinda cool to be able to get a few cookies while watching a show. Can't wait until our next show!

We saw Pinkalicious The Musical at a performance at the Keswick Theatre and it was a fantastic experience for our family. The show was engaging, fun, and the perfect length for my 3.5 year old twin daughters. The music, costumes, and energy kept their attention the entire time. What made the experience even more special was what happened after the show. We happened to run into several cast members at a nearby restaurant and they could not have been kinder. They took time to talk with my daughters, ask them questions, and make them feel important. Their warmth and genuine enthusiasm left a lasting impression on our family. The performance itself was excellent and the kindness and professionalism of the cast made it truly memorable. Highly recommend for families with young children. We would absolutely see it again.

We came to see our friends' sideshow act, which was wonderful! The decor here is bright and stimulating with lots of traditional old-school sideshow memorabilia mixed in with new takes on the vaudevillian era. The stage area is kind of cramped, but also intimate. The state of the building itself is somewhat questionable as the adjective 'crumbly' pops to mind, but throw some stickers and paint around and WahLah; Facelift! Taylor's Tayke: Cafe Ornithology is one of those spots where the experience goes beyond just the food. It's an intimate, all-vegan jazz club that really leans into atmosphere and community. The space is split into two areas, a larger room where you dine and a smaller, more intimate performance space that really pulls you into the music. That smaller room especially creates a close, immersive vibe that makes the night feel personal. My Tipsy Tayke: Both the Rezabal Rose and Millet Chardonnay were crisp, clean, and easy to drink without being overly dry. Great options to sip on while enjoying the music. My Taysty Tayke: Standouts: Sweet Potato Roll, Pizza Dough The Sweet Potato Roll was a highlight, flavorful and well balanced. The Lahmacun Pizza had a really good dough base, and while the combination is a bit unique, it works and makes for an interesting bite. The Hummus was solid and well executed. The Eggplant Roll was moist and hearty, though a bit heavy on the chew. Service: Smooth and accommodating, fits the relaxed and intimate setting. Plates From My Visit: Eggplant Roll Sweet Potato Roll Lahmacun Pizza Hummus Rezabal Rose Millet Chardonnay In Conclusion: A unique, music-driven dining experience with solid vegan dishes and a strong atmosphere. Perfect for a chill night out where the vibe and live jazz are just as important as the food. Stamped by Elajas

Angela the main character was played but a man with a very slight 5 o'clock shadow. Ok it was a little weird but that very quickly melted away because of the phenomenal acting of Jay Romero. All the performers were excellent and supported the main character beautifully. "A Hundred Circling Camps" Excellent and a though provoking. The actors were great and the story was well written.
